Genius Mathematician Ramanujan – A Poem

A self-taught genius mathematician
whose works have reached far
from sands of Madras to the black holes

Thousands of equations still to be understood,
from his lost ‘notebooks’
made with chalk on the walls and temple floors

Just within a lifespan of 32 years
this genius has written it all
in the name of ‘Namagiri’,
the goddess of his town!

All minds stumbled, but the mysteries couldn’t be solved,
will we ever understand this genius?
Is it even possible or not?

O lord thank you for this gift,
if we all humans get off from our egos,
we shall open up our minds to at least know that something
a language exists deep in time,
whose span is vast, but still forbidden for the humankind
